Visually impaired?

A museum experience is not limited to looking at display cases. In the museum, collection pieces are occasionally placed in front of display cases, so you can hold the pieces in your hands and feel the toys for yourself. In Room 2, you can enjoy fun and educational listening clips. In addition, there are numerous play experiences where you can work together.

What about all those stimuli?

A field trip brings a lot of new impressions. The museum has a sensory room where you can take a quiet retreat. In this area, we focus on peace and security. You will find this area near level 2 in room 3 (Playful).

Next to the sensory room is a stimulation room. Using a number of soft stimuli, which appeal to different senses. You can also spend time in this room if you are looking for a safe environment.

In the museum, you can use the autism suitcase, a sensory toolkit for people with autism or who are easily overstimulated. The toolkit includes fidget toys, a scent spray, an aggravation toy and headphones. However, there is much more to discover in the kit. Ask at the counter!
